The CPL(A) license entitles the holder to work as a Pilot in Command (PIC) on a single-pilot aircraft engaged in commercial air transport under Visual Flight Rules (VFR).
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- PPL License
- 18 years of age
- Night Rating
- 150 flight hours experience of which 100 as PIC
- Class 1 Medical Certificate
- English Language Proficency (minimum level 4)
Theoretical Knowledge
200 hours of distance learning instruction of the following subjects:
- Air Law
- Aircraft general knowledge
- Flight performance and planning
- Human performance and limitations
- Meteorology
- Operational procedures
- Navigation
- Principles of Flight
- VFR Communications
Practical Training
25 hours (minimum) of flight training which comprises:
- 15 hours dual VFR on a Single Engine Airplane (minimum 5 hours with a Complex Plane)
- 5 hours dual IFR witch a Single Engine Airplane
- 5 hours with a FNPT II
Credits
with these credits (recommended) it is possible to reduce the hours of practical training:
- IR holders may have their training reduced to 15 hours total
